“Saddened to hear of Paul's passing. First met Paul in 1956 at the Laurn Grove Ice Rink Shack located in West Hancock. Later followed Paul's ice hockey career playing center (#4) for the Portage Lake Pioneers with Jerry "Fuzzy" Fernette (# 9) as left wing and Jerry Kestner as right wing. Got to watch Paul play center on the US Hockey Olympic Team in 1960 on TV. Paul was a positive role model for me and many other young players during the 50's and 60's.”
