He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lanen and Mabel Van Lanen (Bourin); his siblings-in-law, Hilary Arnoldussen and Barbara Van Lanen; and his nephews, Daniel and David Arnoldussen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Loretta Arnoldussen, Roger Van Lanen (Marilyn), Kenneth Van Lanen (Donna), Eugene Van Lanen and Gary Van Lanen (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
