With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Waller (De Pere, Wisconsin), born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on January 27, 2022 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Waller to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Haines Buettell and Geneva Buettell (Frohs); her husband Stephen M. Waller of Dubuque; and her siblings, Joan Buettell, Stephen H. Buettell and Jon E. (Nancy Buettell).

She is survived by: her son Jeff (Lisa) of Bokeelia, FL; her grandchildren, Ben (Denise), Matthew (Britt) and Emily; her daughter Lisa Cook (Dennis) of Amherst, WI; her grandchildren, Abbey (Lish Steiling) and James (Samantha Jones); her daughter Barb Henley (Gerald) of Sobieski, WI; her brothers, Thomas Buettell and James Buettell (Joan); and her sister-in-law Sharon Buettell. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the PEO Sisterhood, Green Bay DePere Antiquarian Society or St. Anne's Episcopal Church, DePere.

“Just found out Nance passed away. So heartbroken. I was for some reason thinking of her the last few days. Now I know why. An angel was telling me she had gone to a better place. I’ll always treasure her and visiting with with her at her house in Preble. And the bouquet of fishes she gave me at the opening night of “Guys On Ice” at American Folklore Theater. Prayers and good thoughts to all her family. Doug Mancheski”
