She is survived by: her husband Robert Victor Merckx; her sons, Peter Merckx (Shelby) and William Merckx (Diane); her grandchildren, Nicholaus Merckx, Michelle Merckx, Michael Merckx, Marcus Merckx and Sally Scarbrough; and her sister Michelene Van (John) of Ven. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
