She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Berg and Harriet Vanden Berg (Diedrich); her husband Norbert; her daughter Mary Harriet; her brothers, Servanius Vanden Berg (Jane) and Robert Vanden Berg (Marie); and also, Joseph (Babe), Lucille (Gene), Dorothy (Dave), Mildred (Ken) and Emil.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lou Jones (Robert), Karen Bloczynski (Donald), Roger Van De (Becky), Margaret Matzke (Mark) and Ken Van De (Kristin); her grandchildren, Melissa Jones, Bridget Smylie (Jonathan), Gina Petrie (Ryan), Eric Van De (Kaylee), Ryan Van De Walle (Paige Thoune), Christopher Matzke (Colleen), Nicholas Matzke, William Matzke (Colleen Miller), Elizabeth Matzke (Austin Kowarsch), Colter and Quinn Van De Walle; her great grandchildren, Craig, Evelyn and Lucy Smylie; and her sister-in-law Joann Boyd.
