He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Peterson and Johanna Peterson (Van Kauwenberg); his brother Donald; his siblings-in-law, John, Phillip, Daniel Van Gheem, Edward Gonnering, Jim Jansen, Gayle Van Gheem, Mary Ann and Mabel Peterson; his great grandchildren, Christian, Gabriel and Prasaya Peterson; and his parents-in-law, Raphael and Alberta Van Gheem.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Robert Peterson (Bernadette), William Peterson (Christine), Daniel Peterson (Barbara) and Julie Bougie (Daniel); his grandchildren, Ted Peterson (Amy), Jessie Levknecht (Billy), Melissa Garvey (Paul), Brian Peterson (Kelly), Virginia Garvey (Tom), Christopher Peterson (Rachael), Caleb Peterson (Aubrey), Katie Bougie (Brett Smykal) and Matt Bougie; his great grandchildren, Willem, Finnigan, Emma, Alex Peterson, Blake, Jack Levknecht, Logan, Bruce, Nichole Garvey, Payton, Sawyer, Grady, Oryn Peterson, Audrey, Louis, Greta Peterson, Louie and Maverick Peterson; his siblings, Mary Ann Van Gheem, Nancy Jansen, Judy Gonnering, Betty Gonnering (Frank), Joanne Helke (Gail), Gordon Peterson and Orin Peterson (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Nick Van Gheem (Connie) and Delores Van Gheem. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (n5589 County Rd E, De Pere, WI 54115). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1100 W Main Ave, Ashwaubenon, WI 54304).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Lucky Louie's memory.
