She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schlueter and Florence Schlueter (Loes); her husband Mel J. Nicks; and her siblings, Anna Mae Nicks, Cecile Marie (Dorothy Schlueter), Mary Carolyn (Rita Schlueter) and James Schlueter.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Andrew Nicks, Stephen Nicks, Joseph Nicks and Susan Nicks Ponto.
