He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ness and Rose Ness (Brownell); his wife Nancy Ness (LaCount); his parents-in-law, George and Aurelia LaCount (LaPacz); his siblings, Glenn Ness, Clyde Ness, Gordan Ness, Cletus Ness, Blanche Jansch, Shirley Tuttle, Lyle Ness and Natalie Shaw; and his close friend Eddie Quandt.
He is survived by: his daughter Shelly Ness; his grandchildren, Kristina Jasinski, James Jasinski (Jordan) and Georgie Jasinski; his son Jeffrey Ness (Mary); his grandchild Brittanie Ness; his siblings, Violet LaCount, Gladys Stuewer, Neil Ness and Peggy Magee; and his close friends, Lloyd "Tike" Ferron (Chris), Joan Braundorf and Kathy Quandt. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.
