He is survived by: his wife Nancy Knutson; his children, Katherine Maples and Jeffrey Maples (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley, Taylor, Rachel and Abigail; his siblings, Roger Maples (Nancy) and Vern Maples (Lea); and his nieces and nephews, Stuart Maples (Karen), Phillip Maples (Janel), Curtis Maples, Julie Weiberdink (Dan), Shawn Greaves (Julie), Kurt Knutson (Kristin), Kris Knutson (Ana), Kimberly Peil and Courtney Lindstrom (Greg).
In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
