He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Trinkner (Cornelissen); his siblings, Dorothy Mae Trinkner, Gordon Trinkner, Richard Trinkner and Mary Quade; his siblings-in-law, Charles Quade and Bernice Trinkner; his son-in-law David Schmitt; and his grandchild-in-law Jean Ann Trinkner.
He is survived by: his father Raymond Trinkner; his close friend Marlyn J. Albrecht; his wife Marlyn; his children, Susan Cohen (Michael) of Madison, WI, Cindy Trinkner-Peot (Michael) of Sister Bay, WI, Greg Trinkner (Marge) of Green Bay, WI and Joan Shahrani (Lutfi) of Madison, WI.; his grandchildren, Matthew Schmitt (Brenda), Emily Bopf (Daniel), Ross Cohen (Briana), Annie Cohen (Brent), Andrew Peot, Aubrey Peot, Chelsea Taves (Tanner), Tasha Poplin (Tony), Jassem Shahrani (Emily), Taj Shahrani (Meghan) and Zane Shahrani (Kira); his sister Ellie Zirbel of Madison; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Trinkner (Dottie) of Sturgeon Bay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established in his name for Unity Hospice.
