He was predeceased by: his brother Donnie Cropsey; his brother-in-law Jerry Barnack (Kathy); and his pet Buffy. He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Barnack, Connie Corsten (Gary), Bob Cropsey (Sue), Richard Cropsey (Jackie) and Colleen Deffke (Tom); and his sister-in-law Julieann Cropsey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
