He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Doleshal and Lillian Doleshal (Cooper); his former wife Marie Foss; his son John Adam Doleshal; his sister Velva "Val" Steenweg (Bob); and also Timothy Kopetsky.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Helgeson; his stepchildren, Sherry Jelic (Milan) of Sun Prairie, WI, Dan Kopetsky (Marilyn) of Littleton, CO, Ed Kopetsky (Janet) of Redwood City, CA and Laurie Sukowaty (Stan) of De Pere, WI; his stepgrandchildren, Beth Jelic (Ryan Tellor) of Tucson, AZ, Kristin Jelic (Francisco Munoz) of De Pere, WI, David Kopetsky (Brea Burmeister) of Boulder, CO, Sarah Kopetsky of Littleton, CO, Matthew Kopetsky (Ann) of Wauwatosa, WI, Angie Kopetsky (Ryan Frechette), Rachel Sukowaty of Bay City, MI and Grace Sukowaty of De Pere, WI; his great grandchildren, Liam, Soren and Claire; his sisters-in-law, Diane Duprey, NJ, Judy Rebarchek of Manitowoc, WI and Audrey Gomez of Peoria, AZ; and his former wife Rebecca Premo (Kurt).
