He is survived by: his sister Carol Smith (Donny); his sister-in-law Dot Van Den Berg; his friend Mel Van Den (Lou); his children, Dee Van Hoof (Joe), John Van Den (Cindy), Lia Murphy (Joe), Shelly Bastien (George), Quinn Van Den (Cheryl), Scott Van Den (Connie) and Shawn Vanden Heuvel (Larry); and his grandchildren, Cheyenne Van Hoof (April), Cherokee Anderson (Jesse), Chase Van Hoof (Heather), Jamie Berger (Jon), Jackie Chance, Jeri Eastman (Jay), Joe Murphy (Sarah), Shawn Briggs, Shannon Keiler (Matt), Amber Denkins (Shannon), Desi Coenen (Mike), Chantel Metoxen (Chad), Charis Bastien (James Russ), George Bastien (Ellen), Jesse Warpinski (Larry), Cory Van Den Berg, Quin Van Den Berg, Ashley Heindel (Jason), John Van Den (Katie), Justin Van Den (Abby), Michael Metoxen, Cree Marks (Niel), Mitchel Metoxen (Ashley), Jennifer Whittemore (Shaun Jahnke), Jessica Massart (Sean), Jolene Bowers (Nick) and Eric Vanden Heuvel (Becky).
