He was predeceased by: his parents, John Yashinsky and Anna Yashinsky (Liptak); his wife Alveda Belongia; his sons-in-law, Norm Champion and Ken Roskom; and his siblings, Ed Yashinsky and Mary Markiewicz (Theophile).
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Champion, Bob Yashinsky (Diane), Nancy Parascandola (Michael), Judy Roskom and Gary Yashinsky (Stacy); and his sister-in-law Dolly Yashinsky. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous step great grandchildren.
