He was predeceased by: his parents, Berthold Bangert and Elizabeth Bangert (Eberhardt). He is survived by: his wife Laura Thede; his children, Pat O'Sullivan (Steve), Elaine Solper (Jerry), Doug Bangert, Yvonne Sopata and Donna Boesen (Randy); his siblings, Ted (MaryLou), Robert, Bill (Betty), Lea (Audrey), Lois Gille (Chuck) and Bert (Jan); and also, Vernon Thede (Ruth), Roland Thede (Kathryn), Leona Reineman, LaVerne Cegielnik and Edna Ninneman (Terry). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
