He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Delores Briggs, Merle Briggs and Bertha Hillesland. He is survived by: his parents, Darwin Briggs and Sandy Briggs (Hillesland); his son Gavin; his wife Shawn Murphy; his brother Jeremy Briggs (Mandy); his parents-in-law, Joseph Jr. and Lia Murphy; his siblings-in-law, Joseph III Murphy (Sarah) and Shannon Keiler (Matt); his grandparents, Lief Hillesland and Julie Briggs; and his nieces and nephews, Connor, Rafe, Emma, Ashur Briggs, Rory, Ian Keiler, Joey and Henry Murphy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a fund is being set up in Gavin's name.
