He was predeceased by: his father Rapheal Gevers; his son Andy; and his brothers-in-law, Bernie Achten, Stuart Jansen and Tom Lindsley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lindsley; his children, Tom Gevers, Pat "Roller" Gevers and Paul Gevers (Molly); his daughter-in-law Eileen Gevers; his grandchildren, Jacob, Nick and Catherine; his siblings, Mary Achten, Virginia Jansen and Bill Gevers (Sue); and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Lindsley (Sandy), Mike Lindsley (Barb) and Sandy Lindsley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers or plants please, instead a memorial will be established in his name.
