It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ila Petersen of De Pere, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Walter Franzke; her sister Enola Miller; her brother-in-law Robert Miller; her half-sister Lois Samardich; her sisters-in-law, Helen and Adeline Petersen; and her son-in-law Norman Falish.
She is survived by: her husband Carl H. Petersen; her daughters, Carla Falish (De Pere) and Sharon Petersen (Little Chute); her grandchildren, Shannon Gerrits (Brian), Carl Falish, Cory Falish, Nikolas Falish, Shane Falish (Anna) and Sasha Steudel (Nick); her great grandchildren, Ian, Hailey Gerrits, Paige Fuhrmann, Alecia, Coltyn Falish, Lane, Hermione Falish, Cameron, Cooper, Kendal and Carli Steudel; her brother Larry Franzke (Sharon Jansen); and her brother-in-law Elton Petersen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
