She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Belongia and Kathryn Belongia (Lipp); her husband Robert Wellens; her son-in-law David Dresang, Jr.; her siblings, LaVerne Salmon (Richard), Carol Vanden Boogart (Dennis) and Russell Belongia; her brother-in-law Don Quinnette (Anna); her nieces, Lynn Barnard and Lisa Wellens; her nephew Ted "Butch" Peters; and also, Henry and Lucille Wellens (Van Duyse).
She is survived by: her daughter Theresa Dresang; her grandson Bryan; her stepgranddaughters, Tiana and Amber; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Talon, Serenity and Atreyu; and her brother-in-law Dan Wellens (Peggy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
