He was predeceased by: his parents, Everson Zelten and Emma Zelten (Vander Heiden); his former wife June Bacon; his wife Verna Selner Peters; his siblings, Delores Baeten, Jerome and Ron; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Baeten, Jerry Ledvina and Leonard Selner.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jeff Taylor, Lydia Zmek, Joe Zmek (Taylor), Alexandria "Allie" Sacia (Marc) and Kyle Kolb; his great grandchildren, Kobus Taylor, Juliana, Theo Zmek, Emma and Chloe Ann Sacia; his sisters, Janet Van Grunsven (Larry) and Joyce Lindsley (Bill); his sisters-in-law, Shirley, Rosalie Zelten, Irene Ledvina, Arlene Kozlovsky and La Verne Selner; and his niece Darlene Amenson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial funds for Sisters of St. Francis and St. Mary Catholic Community has been established.
