He was predeceased by: his father Edward Day; his siblings, Mary Ellen Zellner, Tim Day and Dan Wilson; his sons, Keric and Michael Day; his son-in-law Rick Winkelspecht; his niece Amy Siehr; and his nephew Alex Zellner (Judy Fournier).
He is survived by: his wife Lois Wilson of Gladstone, Michigan.; his children, Edward Day (Marsan), Laura Winkelspecht, Patrick Day (Marlene), Ron King, Cheryl Ellis (Clay), Teri Ewing (Steve) and John King (Michelle); his grandchildren, Nick, Jacob, David, Grace, Thomas, Katie, Emily, Becca, Michael, Nicole, Hannah, Eli, Danny, Britney, Joseph and Aaron; and his siblings-in-law, Libby Day, Marilyn Kulas, Shirley O'Mealy and Rick Wilson. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to De Pere Christian Outreach or Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary.
