He is survived by: his children, Diane Smith (Shawn) of Kingsford, MI, Steve Van Lanen of Lena, WI, Kevin Van Lanen (Marla) of Howard, WI and Scott Van Lanen of De Pere, WI; his grandchildren, Kayla Van Lanen (Jake Jossart), Ashly Rose Van Lanen, Mallory Safford (David), Jayson Blake, Aaron Blake (Kelsey) and Joshua Van Lanen; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Bennett, Owen, Henley, William and Evelyn; and his siblings, Loretta Arnoldussen, Roger Van Lanen (Marilyn), Kenneth Van Lanen and Gary Van Lanen (Karen). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
