She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Heim and Loretta Heim; her husband Joseph Benoit; her siblings, Ronald Heim (Jacqueline), Patty Heim, Robert Heim and Donald Heim; her son-in-law Thomas Morgans; her grandsons, Joseph, Donald Benoit and Gary Micoliczyk; and her parents-in-law, Joseph and Rena Benoit.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine Morgans, Charles Benoit (Pamela), Donald Benoit (Corrine Kaster), Dennis Benoit, Scott Benoit, Marion, Steven Benoit (Connie), De Pere and Michelle LeCloux; her grandchildren, Angela Paul (Randy), Zach Micoliczyk, Rachel Konshak (Mychal), Jessica Benoit, Nikki LaHaye (Will), Paul Dax (Veronica), Becka Mertens, Matthew Benoit, Holly Mier (Brian), Cory Benoit, Jake Benoit, Justin Benoit, Christopher LeCloux (Stacy), Courtney LeCloux and Carly LeCloux; and her sister-in-law Georgia Benoit. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations made in lieu of flowers will be used to honor Dorothy.
