She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Kohlman and Elizabeth Kohlman (Grave); her husband Pirmin Schmitz; her grandson Shawn Schmitz; her siblings, Josephine Reese (Richard) and Wally Kohlman (Pearl); and her siblings-in-law, Earl Winkel, Gordon Schmitz, Kay Schmitz and Lu Casper (Lyle).
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Bloechl (Duke), Terry Schmitz (Terri), Dale Schmitz (Darla), Jeff Schmitz (Janet), Rick Schmitz, Kevin Schmitz (Sandi) and Pam Schmitz; her sister Alice Winkel; and her siblings-in-law, Daniel Schmitz and Adeline Schmitz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
