Betty Jane Sawyer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Sawyer in De Pere, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermann Reinke and Ida Reinke (Wisco) of Winneconne, Wisconsin.; her son-in-law Alan Day Whitmore; and her siblings, Roland Reinke, Russell Reinke, Rosetta Reinke, Inez Frank (Reinke), Marceil Troudt (Reinke), Frederick Reinke (Fritz), Lloyd Reinke (Ted) and Dolores Reinke Haidlinger.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Sawyer (Judi) of De Pere, Wisconsin and Deborah Whitmore of Fox Point, Wisconsin; and her grandchildren, Alan Sawyer (Liz) of Kewaunee, Kyle Sawyer (Colby) of De Pere, Stuart Whitmore of Chandler, Arizona and Katharine Whitmore (Mark Russo) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.. She is also survived by four great-grandsons and various nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory (305 N 10th St, De Pere, WI 54115).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Shriners Children's or the Neenah-Menasha Emergency Society.
