He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Calaway and Elizabeth Calaway (Vander Loop); his daughter Nancy Duerr; his sons-in-law, Tim Willems and Eric Hermanson; his sister Arlene Bogenschutz; and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Calaway, David DeVleeshower and Bob Drzewiecki.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret DeVleeshower (Marge); his children, Mary Stein, Cindy Walter-Willems, Paul Duerr, Anne Hermanson, Cathy Zuleger (Chuck) and Tom (Joe); his grandchildren, Megan Stein, Greg Walter (Kysa), Matthew Willems, Corey, Casey Duerr, Jenna Manders (Zak), Brittany Helphrey, Lauren and Brady Calaway; his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Mackenzie and Maxwell Walter; his brothers, Clarence and Sylvester Calaway (Pat); and his parents-in-law, Barbara Drzewiecki, Mary Jo DeVleeshower, Kathy Schuster (Dana Hutchison) and Sandy DeVleeshower.
Due to current COVID restrictions, private family services will be held with military honors at the Shrine of the Good Shepard Chapel.
