She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Danen and Narcissus Danen (Chase); and her brother Dale. She is survived by: her husband Jerome Smits; her children, Mark Smits (Lisa), Sandy Miller (Mark), Scott Smits (Lori) and Lisa Andersen (Craig); her grandchildren, Kyle, Kory, Nicholas, Megan, Brandon, McKenzie and J'mari; and her siblings, Richard Danen (Lynn) and Deborah Hansen (Randy).
