She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Boehme and Jean Boehme (Langer). She is survived by: her husband Michael Knipfer; her children, Rebecca and Bryan; and her sisters, Barbara Boehme (Zig), Paula Martin (Roger) and Laurie Vertz (Rick). She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pets Alive in San Antonio, TX or Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
