She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottlieb Ertel and Fredia Ertel (Jurk); her husband James J. Mersberger; and her granddaughter JoAnn Jorenby. She is survived by: her children, Virgina Jorenby (Richard), Mary Armstrong and Jim Mersberger (Nancy). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
