She was predeceased by: her parents, Grier Elgin and Reeda Elgin (Jenkins); and her sister Elaine Fredrickson. She is survived by: her husband James DeForest; her sons, Doug DeVilbiss (Kris) and Danny DeVilbiss; and her grandchildren, Samantha and Matthew.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, private family services will be held.
