He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Burke and Juanita Burke (Whelan); his siblings, Robert, Margaret, Tom, Marcia, Ruth and Ann; and his siblings-in-law, Joe, Bernice Scherrer and Roger.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Scherrer; his children, Patrick (Julie Hamm), Teresa Kohler-Burke (Benjamin Kohler) and Brian (Nicole); his grandchildren, Joseph, Olivia, Alicia Kohler, Payton, Nolan and Harper; and his sister-in-law Lois. He is also survived by nephews and a niece along with their children.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be given to charities that were close to Jim's heart.
