He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Parkinson and Elizabeth Parkinson (Blaine). He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his children, Tyler Parkinson of Platteville, WI, Josh Parkinson of Darlington, Ben Parkinson (Jamie) of Mineral Point, WI and Hannah Parkinson of Platteville; his stepchildren, Jen Martin (Brad Tibbets) of Mineral Point, Christopher Reichling (Maria Young) of Darlington, Heather Reichling (Matt McGuire) of Monticello, WI and Nathan Reichling of Darlington; and his siblings, Tim Parkinson of Darlington, Terry Parkinson (Diana) of Darlington, Kay Iverson (Mitch) of Platteville, WI and Patty Tyson (Roger) of Belmont, WI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was born March 23, 1963 at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County in Darlington the son of Robert and Elizabeth (Blaine) Parkinson.
