She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hale and Lucille Hale (Ethridge); and her husband John W. Ruf. She is survived by: her children, Dick (Carol Ruf), Bill (Jodi Ruf), Mark Ruf (Lisa Paulson), Duke (Jody Ruf), Deana and Stu Soper (Darlington); and her grandchildren, Jadin Ruf (Heather), Jessica Saalsaa, Brandi Wepking (Dustin), Joey Ruf (Lydia), Lee Ruf (Makayla McVay), Kari Lamont (Brad), Ashley DeBuhr (Garrett), Kayla Ruf, Christen Ruf (Kristen), Michael Ruf, Jacob Ruf, Joshua Soper (Samantha Erickson), Matthew Ruf and Natalie Soper (Mitchell White). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, "extended" grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and one sister.
