He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schwartz and Hester Schwartz (Yearous); his wife Jill Bernice Schwartz; his sons, Dean and Scott; his siblings, George, Bill, Alan, Lloyd, Bob, Ray, Jesse and Nola; and his pet Tucker.
He is survived by: his friend Reuben Humann of North Dakota; his children, Coleen (Mark Wedig), Julie Schwartz (Dean) of Savage, MN, Carla Morgan (Kelly) of Marshfield, Tony (Maggie) of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Dixie Schwartz of Des Moines; his siblings-in-law, Louise Schwartz, Bev Prine, Carol Kieffer and Bobby Prine; his pet Gizmo; and his extended family, Patty, Tom, Terry, Kay and Tim Parkinson. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
