He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ohnstad and Edna Ohnstad (Peterson); his brothers-in-law, John Donahue and Greg Govier; and his nephew Jeffrey Donahue.
He is survived by: his siblings, David Ohnstad (Sharan), Shirley Donahue, Carol Hanson (Norman) and Karen Govier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bobby's name.
