He is survived by: his wife Sherry Hill; his children, Mike Whalen (Stacey) of Darlington, Deb Whalen of Darlington, Rick Whalen (Amy) of Darlington, Jill Meier (Kent) of South Wayne, WI and Mark Whalen (Brenda) of Darlington; his grandchildren, Allen, Rachel, Dana, Mitchell, Olivia, Delaney, Ava, Brent, Murray, Hailey, Jake, Dakota, Cole and Blake; his great grandchildren, Maven, Memphis, Ella, Lane, Luke, Mya, Mayci, Maren, Hayes and Ryder; his siblings, Ed Whalen (Kathy), Jerry Whalen and Karen Whalen; and his sisters-in-law, Jane Whalen and Marilyn Whalen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
