He was predeceased by: his parents, James Toom and Jane Toom (Leidigh). He is survived by: his significant other Jeff Boatman; and his children, Ryan Toom (Tina) of Cedar Rapids, Michael Toom of Cedar Rapids and Carissa Lala (Brian) of Cedar Rapids.
