It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty I. Thompson of Darlington, Wisconsin, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Tregoning and Irene Tregoning (Thom); her husband H. Stuart Thompson; her sister Janet Halverson; and her daughter Barbara Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Sato (Glenn), John Thompson, Darci Kluesner (Paul) and Wayne Thompson (Tina Brugger); her grandchildren, Jessica Embrick, Dana Hudson, Jory Erpenbach, Michelle Evans, Peter, Mike, Mark Thompson, Grady Kluesner, Kari Gornik and Kyle Thompson; and her brother Robert Tregoning. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.
