He is survived by: his mother Mary Leahy (Salathe) of Darlington; his children, Paige Hohlstein (Seth Rowe) of Darlington, Lydia of Gratiot, Lane of Gratiot and Landon Leahy of Gratiot; the mother of his children Gina Leahy of Gratiot, WI; his siblings, Kevin Leahy (Wendy) of Shullsburg, Connie Moore of Sun Prairie, WI, JoAnn Merfeld (Rick) of Tuscon, AZ and Amy Ray (Jerod) of Darlington; and his nieces and nephews, Kyle Moore, Brett Moore (Amber), Ryan Riley (Jenny), Angie Barnard (Nathan), Lauryn, Jenna Merfeld, Tim Leahy (Stephanie), Ashton Leahy, Alaina Markham (James), Erica Leahy, Mallory Sturtz (John) and Mitchell Ray (Kendra).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Al's name.
