Gene Jacquet wrote a sympathy message

“I am so very sorry for the loss of your Mom and Grandma. Betty was a student of my Grandma, Helen Thomas, at WSD. We got to know her through my Grandma. Betty was always cheerful and funny and seemed very caring. She was so involved in her community and was a person people looked up to in the deaf community and the hearing community. With my deepest sympathy and prayers. May you relish her love and memories. Gene Williamson Jacquet”

Dorothy Hertz wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Susie and Dean, Ryan and Casey, I’m so sorry to hear that Betty has passed. She was such a sweet lady. I worked with Guy many years ago at Borg Textile. And through him, I met his lovely wife.. Betty always had a smile or hug for me when I ran into her at the grocery store or at a restaurant. Our condolences to all of you. Dorothy and Bryan Hertz”
