It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor P. Statz of Dane, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Statz and Margaret Statz (Karls); his parents-in-law, John and Elizabeth Kalscheuer; his siblings, Hilary (Celine), Elaine Ziegler (Leonard), Philip (Irene), Betty Endres (Joseph), Sylvester, Judine Wood (Bill) and David (Darlene); and his siblings-in-law, John Hurtgen, Kenneth, Gilbert Kalscheuer (Vange), Willie Bowar and Beatrice Bollig (Ed).

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Kalscheuer; his close friend Shirley; his children, Linda Patrick (Randy), Nancy Haag, Ann Douma (Mike) and Bill Statz (Lori); his grandchildren, Adam Fell (Tara), Amy Fink (Matt), Abigail Davis (Kevin), Gwendolyn Haag, Chloe Kutella (Corbin), Elliot Statz, Taylor and Bryce Douma; his stepgrandson Randy Patrick Jr.; his great grandchildren, Colton, Kane Fink, Ava, Ella Fell, Cole and Caroline Davis; his siblings, Robert (Henrietta), John (Bambi), Ronald (Cheryl), Kenneth Statz (Joyce) and Marilyn Hurtgen; and his sisters-in-law, Annabelle Bowar, Theresa Kalscheuer and Rosie Kurt (Silvin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
