He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Rortvedt and Alice Rortvedt (Lenz); his brother Conway Lenz; his son Donald; and his brother-in-law Thomas Weigen.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Skalitzky; his children, Mike (Nanette), Lene, John (Kaia), David, Sue Dekkers (Jack), Eric (Jean), Robert (Janet) and Colleen Williams (Kerry); and his siblings, Jackie Boyd (Cecil), Janice Weigen and Thomas Rortvedt (Gloria). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
