He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Christensen and Margie Lugwig (Ludwig); his stepfather Leo Ludwig; his parents-in-law, Al McKenzie and Irma Hill; his brother-in-law Allen Jenssen; and his niece Christy Tackit.
He is survived by: his nephew Andy McKenzie; his wife Star McKenzie; his pet Packer; his children, Laura Christensen (Bob) and Todd Christensen (Dawn); his grandchildren, Brian, Amanda and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Carrie Ann; his stepmother Trixie Christensen; his sister Carol Jenssen; and his siblings-in-law, Arlo McKenzie (Connie), Renee Nielsen, Faye Riedner (John) and Judy Rice (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the St. Croix Hospice Foundation.
