He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Person and Evelyn Person; his parents-in-law, Verda Mae and David De St Hubert; and his brothers-in-law, David De St Hubert Jr. and John Cookos.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Person; his sons, Chad Person (Brigid) and Andy Person (Reena); his grandchildren, Macklin, Ireland, Maxwell and Kaveri; and his sister Arliss Cookos. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
