He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Koppen and Mildred Koppen; his son Brian; his grandson Nick; and his brothers, Charles and Melvin (Margaret).
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Mark (Alesa), Chris (Carrie) and Keith (Sue); his daughter-in-law Amy; his grandchildren, Angela Burns (Jason), Sara, Kyle, Kassie, Jenni Koranda (Matt), Sherry Kern and Erin; his great grandchildren, Grayson and Maddie Koranda; and his sister-in-law Ardis. He is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
