She was predeceased by: her parents, William Austin, and Maggie Austin, Sr.; her husband Edwin Benjamin; her sons, Ronald Staples and Gary Benjamin; her granddaughter Savanna; and her siblings, Dorothy Garbow and William Austin Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Romona Reyes (Orin Sr.), Gloria Benjamin (Dwaine), Ed Benjamin Jr. (Pat), Roberta Benjamin, Tracy Benjamin, Kelly Benjamin-Mackyol (Louis) and Michael Benjamin; and her sisters, Marion Nelson and Gladys Loger. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.
