He was predeceased by: his parents, Elling Gilbertson and Gena Gilbertson (Nelson); and his brothers, Leo, Elling Jr. and Jerome Gilbertson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Reinecke) of Dallas; his sons, Lance (Shannon) of Wyoming and Danny Gilbertson (Laurie) of Wyoming; his stepchildren, Jerry Zebro (Danielle) of Ridgeland, Sherry Thalacker (Shawn) of Eau Claire and Gena Ketchum (Barry) of Wilson, WI; his grandchildren, Tara Gilbertson, Kimberly Hatch (Karsten), Rebecca McGarry (Dan), Ashlynn Westbroek (Craig), Channelle Brewer, Cory Gilbertson (Shanea), Kylie Jaques (Josh) and Cody Gilbertson (Ali); his stepgrandchildren, Amelia, Cora Zebro, Sammy, Derek and Ryan Ketchum; and his brothers, Vernon Gilbertson (Judy) of Dallas and Larry Gilbertson (Lynn) of Chetek. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
