She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Janke and Carol Janke (Haefs); and her parents-in-law, Robert Thorne and Sue Zuhlke. She is survived by: her husband Michael Thorne; her mother-in-law Karen Thorne; her children, Adam and Tabytha Thorne (Dan Smith); her granddaughter Wilhelmina Thorne; her siblings-in-law, Tony Thorne and Sandy Thorne; her siblings, John Janke (Jackie) and Laurie Schmandt (Tim); and her nieces and nephews, Malachi Janke, Britton Janke, Stephanie Gerard and C. J. Janke.
