He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Sr. Herek and Frances Herek (Berna); his wife Angeline S. Michalski; and his grandson Alan Zinda. He is survived by: his children, Beverly Zinda (John) of Rosholt, Linda Wierzba (Ken) of Stevens Point and Lenny Herek (Valerie) of Custer; his grandchildren, Jeremy Zinda, Jason Zinda (Nancy), Ryan Herek (Lyndsey), Dan Wierzba (Chrissy Kramm), Angela Wierzba (Ray Johnson), Ashley Kettenbeil (Tony) and Travis Herek; his great grandchildren, Landon, Maddy, Jameson, Carly, Mason, Amara and Alivia; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hunter and Haven; and his sister Delores Yenter.
