He was predeceased by: his father Everett Schmenk; his siblings, Donald Schmenk (Jane), Robert Schmenk (Sue) and Rose Ann Giesken (Ken); and his brother-in-law Gary McCurdy.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Schmenk (Angela) of River Falls, Gretchen Niedbalski (Chris) of Wisconsin Rapids, Adam Schmenk (Chelsey) of Carmel, Elli Swanson of Stevens Point, Christina Cordy (Caleb) of Custer, Alexander Schmenk (Kayla) of Junction City, Dillon Schmenk (Trisha) of Plover and Colin Schmenk (Nicole) of De Pere; his grandchildren, Isabel, Theodore, Anna, Jacob, Joshua, Henry, Vivian, Raeana, Caleb, Elsie, Benjamin, Lincoln, Holden, Giuliana and Sydney; his sister Judith McCurdy of Ada; and his sister-in-law Mary Schmenk of Ottawa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Tom's name will be established.
